Microsoft combines Windows, Internet development divisions
In an organizational realignment Microsoft announced on Thursday to its employees that it has combined its Internet development with Windows. Microsoft's strategy is to build Web browsing into its forthcoming Windows 98 and Windows NT 5.0. The Kustice Department is investigating that strategy. Web browsing is being designed as a built-in part of Windows under Microsoft's forthcoming Windows 98 and Windows NT 5.0 operating-systems.
